Anna Rich

LCPC, RDT

I became a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a Registered Drama Therapist (RDT) to blend my love of the arts with a desire to provide direct support to other humans. I earned my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a specialization in Drama Therapy from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA and have worked as a drama therapist in schools, psychiatric hospitals, and community mental health clinics. Most recently I worked at the Sweet Tree School in Hope, ME as an arts educator, bringing my clinical knowledge into an arts-based classroom setting. Prior to my work as a therapist, I earned my BFA in Musical Theatre from Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA and worked as an actor nationally and internationally.

I specialize in helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate the challenges of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and related anxiety conditions. My practice integrates evidence-based interventions with creative and experiential modalities to promote lasting symptom reduction and improved quality of life.

OCD can feel overwhelming-filled with intrusive thoughts, repetitive rituals, and a sense of being trapped in your own mind. My approach blends Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)-the gold standard for OCD treatment-with Drama Therapy to facilitate insight, emotional expression, and behavioral flexibility. I combine these modalities in order to create a foundation of trust and engage in exposures with curiosity and collaboration.

Whether you’re seeking therapy for yourself or your child, my goal is to provide a space that is both structured and expressive, empowering clients to manage symptoms independently and engage more fully in their daily lives.
